History

Gentile Law, was founded by Lucía Goy Mastromiechele, LL.M. from Harvard Law School and Princess of Girona Award, after having worked at firms such as Uría Menéndez and Skadden Arps, with a strong international background. Among other cities, she worked in Madrid, London and New York. Her global experience and knowledge of different business cultures bring a unique element to the firm and represented a clear added value for our clients.

Since its beginning as a small legal start-up, and recognized as the best of them in the year of its incorporation by the prestigious economic newspaper Expansión, our Firm has developed into a prestigious law firm that provides comprehensive legal advice, particularly focused on the highest quality of advice to foreign clients investing or with personal interests in Spain and Portugal.

Our beginnings were marked by a steady growth of our client base, as we set out to establish ourselves as the firm for complex international and local tax problems. Recognizing the value of offering full-service advice to clients, we developed complementary practices, such as, Commercial, Corporate, Mergers and acquisitions, Immigration and Foreigners, European Nationalities, Labor, Litigation, Insolvency, Intellectual Property, Data Protection, Family and Inheritance.

In 2020, after identifying the interest and opportunity based on the flexibility of Portuguese residency and citizenship laws, we opened offices in Lisbon to best serve the immigration needs of our clients in this country.

In 2022, in line with our strong international vision and foreign client base, we opened offices in Miami and are looking to opening shortly in México City.

We continue our growth with our clients, motivated by our commitment to excellence, loyalty and results.
